Big Data in der Medizin

Wenn von den Vorteilen von Big Data die Rede ist, wird in aller Regel die medizinische Forschung als Beispiel angeführt. Das bleibt meist recht abstrakt. Im folgenden TED Talk nennt Russ Altman ein einfaches und leicht nachvollziehbares Beispiel:
